Audiovox 8600

Hello,
Anybody know how to get the annoying beep when the 8600 is searching for
the system. Inside the apartment I hardly get a signal and the thing just
keeps beeping sometimes.

Go to: Menu>Settings>Sounds>Alert
There you can turn off those annoying beeps. (2,4 &5)
