AURIA EQ276W 27" LED Monitor- display size

I have one of these that replaced an Acer, and I use it for graphics all day long; I like it. I had to reserve it at the store & picked up the next to last one.

I can't get it to display all areas of the screen without distorting the aspect ration, though; I hate wasting all that real estate & the manual is useless.

Any idea how I can use more than the center 2/3 of the screen without stretching out the images?
