Hi everyone
This question is for person who play as jedi.
It is known that you only need 6 branches from 16 to have visit from Old
Man, do one mission and become initiate.
But what if I decide to grind more than minimum 6?
Is it helps later/is it worth to loose time for grinding/ Is your character
more powerfull?

It's a waste of skillpoints!

I have done more than 6 quests, and have banked fs skill points. Because at
MLS you are at the speed cap so Melee speed isn't useful anymore so I can
then train in a different branch such vehicle control or survial. You need
6 branches trained up at anyone time, but if you get a 7th you can drop one

I don't plan on becoming Jedi, at least not at this time, but I have found
the FS skills to be of benefit in my other professions. Right now I have
Ranged Def IV and Survival II. I won't be doing melee since with AAs/CAs and
my current cap, I am fast enough as it is. As a TKM/pistoleer/medic, I
routinely stagger my attacks so I don't do the standard "block and counter"
stuff anyways. I pull with bleeders, kite a little then close in to pound it
down with dizzy, stun and blind interspersed with unarmed 3. I will probably
do survival to IV, healing to IV, ranged proficiency and melee proficiency
and that's it. There just aren't enough skill points to go around anyways.
And, if you can stand the grind, yes, you can do more than the 6 branches.
That's just the minimum.

One thing I have found is that in most aspects, you aren't necessarily "more
powerful", but you are more lethal in PvE and, in some instances, PvP. I
don't know about Jedi, I personally have enough hassle from the 12 year olds
and their gank squads as a combatant rebel TKM on Corbantis server as it is.
I have noticed I dodge and evade a lot more when fighting stormtroopers and
big critters like Krayts. Did my first Krayt hunt last night and did pretty
good, only got incapped 3 times and died once. And that was from standing
directly under the beast and taunting it off the rifleman and the swordsman.

Anyways, I do see a benefit to the FS skill but so far, not enough to make
me want to get into the Jedi grind.

/ramble off
