Hi,
I am putting together a budget build for a new moderate gaming PC I am hoping to build.
I currently have one build $1600 but would like it as low as possible, while maintaining a good FPS mark. I also like multitasking quite a bit (eg watching youtube+game+browsing web).
Here is my build that I have designed for now, but I would like to have it as low price as possible. It needs to include a monitor, keyboard, mouse, OS and stuff like that. Currently I have a laptop, and this will be my first PC build (though I have spent months learning all about EVERYTHING there is to know about it 😛

Thanks!

Solution
This a is very similar to the one I plan to build.

You don't need DDR3-1866, DDR3-1600mhz probably costs less and will have the same performance. A i5 4690K with an ASUS Z97-A motherboard would be a better option as when you upgrade to i7, which are almost always overclockable, you won't need a new motherboard.
