So I have been getting an issue for a few days now while gaming where my PC freezes, the screen goes black, then my sound goes static and the PC restarts. I have tried reinstalling the AMD gpu drivers and that did not work. I tried resetting my PC and that also did not work. I checked my temps and they were normal. This has only happened while gaming and a few times while downloading something. Here is the minidump file from before I reset my PC

If your CPU is overclocked, restore it to default clocks.
Make sure your CPU is not overheating.

Try disabling Fast startup and see if it helps
Go to Power Options, click on Choose what the power button do and click on Change settings that are currently unavailable.
Under Shutdown settings, uncheck Turn on fast startup (recommended). Click the Save changes button.

Check your motherboard manufacturer for BIOS updates.
Could you post your system components.

Here is the PC I have https://www.bestbuy.com/site/cyberpowerpc-gamer-ultra-desktop-amd-fx-series-8gb-memory-amd-radeon-rx-560-1tb-hard-drive-black/6225212.p?skuId=6225212&ref=212&loc=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw4uXaBRAcEiwAuAUz8NdXYVuS76oIRggIwbRlo_FLsE4cnPCaDu2tTwV8Ky5CTonnYZQ8LBoCREkQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds.

I was testing my GPU and CPU temps while gaming and my CPU was sitting around 55* C and GPU was around 73* and then crashed

CPU has not been overclocked at all.

I disabled fast startup - crashed

I have an older motherboard so I am not sure if it has an update to the BIOS, will check

The motherboard I have is the ASUS M5A78L‑M PLUS/USB3. It seems like it was released in 2011 from what I have seen. I think I have the most up to date version of BIOS on this motherboard.

I am not sure what PSU I have, I have not crashed in atleast 14 hours as of typing this. I think resetting BIOS was the fix. If I do happen to crash again I will reply to this thread with my PSU info.
