Question Auto-Adjusting Brightness for no reason?

Never had this issue so far. LG Monitor,1050ti 4GB graphics card,no auto-adjusting brightness setting found anywhere in the power section of the control panel,nor in the monitor menu itself. Any ideas?

Look for "energy saving" feature in LG menu. It acts as adaptive brightness.

yep, it's the monitor, been set in some auto adjust mode. my monitor has that too, it's annoying.

My monitor only has a gamma slide on one tab,a volume slider on the other tab,a brightness/contrast on the 3rd tab,and a Sharpness/Black level on the last tab. No power stuff anywhere in the menu opened by the monitor buttons.

If there are any options relating to dynamic contrast, turn them off.

Your monitor has some controls on it to control the contrast and auto brightness and things like that so you’ll have to look up your monitor and see how to turn it off it’s probably set into some mode
