Hi guys, I would need some help.

I have a PS3 Pulse Wireless Headset connected to my laptop and, whenever I leave it aside after using it, it keeps on unless I manually turn it off. It's understandable because the Headset keeps receiving signal from the adaptor. So, whenever I plug the adaptor off, the Headset turns off within a minute or so. Naturally.

My question is: is there any software related or a register entry to turn off that specific USB port when not in use for X minutes (when no sound is being transmitted through the adaptor?)

Thanks since now.

Hey James, thanks for your answer.

It's already set to turn off to save power. The problem here is, the adaptor will not turn off while the headset is on. I was looking to force shut it down, if it makes sense.

The problem is it can be listed in multiple places, so check audio devices, and bluetooth as well.

You were right, it is listed in Audio Devices as well. But, when I right click it, there is no Power Management option =/

hmmm, I wanna say... no then, because like you said, it's receiving a signal, whether there is audio or not, as long as it's connected.
It might be a design flaw of the device, because well, it's not "designed" for PCs, only PS3s, which do turn off after their not being used.
