Auto turn on and off a windows machine?

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a program or a function in windows to turn on and turn off automatically the computer. Like let's say I would want my computer to turn on every day at 6 o'clock and turn off at 10 o'clock.

Any little program for that?

I know mac has it in the system preferences, but I don't see it on windows.

your motherboard might have the feature, Wake On RTC (real time clock).

There maybe an option in the BIOS to turn it on. Dont know about turning it off tho

amp winoff is a great free software to turn off/sleep/hibernate by time or no cpu activity or no network activity etc

to turn on far as i know you use wake on alarm/rtc in the bios

have been using amp winoff for years great little program yet very few people know about it which is a shame
