if you haven't got it to trigger yet i remember there was a batch script out there that you can run to get it to trigger. here is a link to a website that has a zip file of the script. i am not sure how you feel about downloading from unknown sites but this one has a download link for it.
it can take 24-48 hours. you can still just go download the media creation tool from microsoft to download a copy of windows 10 and upgrade it that way

You probably need all of the windows 7 updates to sp1 first.
At some point, Microsoft will push KB3035583 to you.
That installs the windows 10 upgrade icon on the taskbar.

I have ran the update process until there are no moare...I will check on that specific number.
