I feel bound to ask why you want this? As I would have thought that the only
truly interesting part of simming is the landing manually! 🙂

I was wondering the same thing. With autotakeoff, autopilot and autoland
why even bother with a sim?

At first, that's what I thought about ILS approaches. I've always had to
fly the approach all the way to touchdown and I wondered why more people
didn't hand fly the ILS to get even more of a sense of accomplishment. I
know how good it feels to cross DH with the needles centered and
crossed. But then the dang missed approach.

Rumors are that FS2006 will model the businessclass seat together with
champagne and beautiful flight attendant.
No more need for a autoland feature than!
