Hi,

Anybody had any experience switching from automatic Liquid Cooling to Custom Watercooling? Well my main Question Is it worth it? I have an H100i installed in my system now and I'm not really an extremist in overclocking I just want it for the looks.

Solution
It's not worth it if you already have an h100i. the cost of watercooling like that is also fairly high, especially if you are planning on cooling any more than just your cpu (typically up to $270 or more just to do a loop including your cpu)

Most people say that going for a custom loop is only worth it if you plan on including more than just your CPU. Going from a AiO unit to a custom loop won´t give you as much of an temperature boost than it does for GPUs.
However, it will be quieter but much more expensive.

I really love to do a custom loop just for the look though, and yes most people said to me that it's not really gonna be a night and day difference when you switch from automatic to custom loop, I really like the look though. I'm planning to make a Black and Yellow theme. but damn I can't find a good Case fan that has yellow LED's.

Also yellow tubing and just hiding your reservoir will give you a better result for the color scheme you want

remember that you will need to buy a new radiator, you will also need an area to mount your reservoir and pump (tank on top of pump for best results)
