Hi there,

Working on windows 7 professional.

My problem is that in work we use LAN connection to work with Proxy server settings turned ON. If I connect to WIFI with internet connection, I have to turn off proxy server from LAN settings, then after a while, connection get switched to WIFI while I'm still connected to the LAN with cable and my work chat still works.

I'm looking for a way to automatically switch proxy server depending on maybe which site to access or which server to access. I'm not sure if it's even possible, but some software might solve this.

Is there any way to be connected to the LAN with proxy settings and WIFI with internet connection simultaneously ? That would be jackpot.

Thanks guys,
Martin

You can not have 2 nics connected to the same network, they can be on different networks but that is not simple to setup. Normally you will get a errors if you try to get both on the same network but it may be the cause of it randomly switching.

Proxy is mostly a browser concept. You should be able to use 2 different web browsers. You can manually set it to not use the proxy.
