[SOLVED] Automatic Tuning on NVIDIA GPU Question

Does the NVIDIA in-game overlay, and/or GEFORCE Experience, need to be enabled/opened to experience automatic tuning?

NVIDIA just added this “experimental” feature to GeForce experience and I’m curious if now that I’ve done the automatic tuning (+99Mhz) , the GPU will benefit from the boost whether or not GeForce experience is open or the overlay is enabled.

Any application that applies tuning needs to run for said tuning to work, otherwise the card is going to run with its default profile. There's no way to "burn-in" these tuning options unless you have some custom firmware.

If you don't want to use GFE, you can also use MSI Afterburner.
