Hey all,

Is anyone familiar with an autoroller for the current version of Adom?

Thanks.

Hello,

In that case there must be at least one more. I used one written in Perl a
few years back, I think Adom 1.00 was the current release back then. I
remember downloading it from some website, but don't know which and haven't
been able to find it again.

By my best understanding, a program (or option within a program) which
will generate characters of a given type randomly until it gets one
which fits a specified set of stat requirements. For ADoM, it would
presumably also be desirable to be able to require a particular star
sign or the like.

Some games (Angband) include built-in autorollers; ADoM does not, and
while I believe there was some comment about one maybe being in ADoM
Deluxe back when that was much but vaporware, there's essentially no
chance of one being built in otherwise. External autorollers are
possible, but not precisely trivial AFAIU.
