Avast free good for PC gaming? (2016)

So when it came for to an anti Virus for my gaming PC I always used bitdefender free because I was told I was the least taxing anti virus for your computer but now I am told that Avast is even less taxing because it latest update (I think is called nitro update) uses a the cloud and is even less taxing on your PC. So my question should i stick with bitdefender free or switch to Avast free

Yes I use Avast and its great. I suggest you download the boot scan tool also. It allows you to scan pre windows startup which can allow virus a chance to hide. You can also make a USB boot scan tool. Note I never install google with it to keep it streamlined.

Avast has become massively bloated over the last year

Personally I don't like it now, it used to be great, it isnt anymore IMO.
