Avast removes non virus files to quarantine

Avast often moves files to the quarantine because it thinks they are a virus. The quarantine area allows for the file to be restored and put the name of the file into the exclusions box.

However, this does not work and it removes the file again, even though the file is clearly marked in the exclusions.

Does anybody have an answer?

Add the file (or the folder) to Avast's exclusions list.
