Avexir raiden vs corsair dominator

I know there are other forums out there for this topic but most of them are two years old I wanted to ask on your opinion. Now that the avexir raise memory isn't that expensive anymore it is the same price as corsair dominator platinum, I'm talking about ddr3 by the way. I was thinking of upgrading my ram but I don't know which I should choose the raiden may look good but also a little too big but corsair affairs reliability and a little flair with the light bar. I have a blue and white themed build in a corsair 250d if anyone here has that ram in that case I would love to seem some pics to see how it would look like. If nothing else I would love to here your opinions.

Yep the Avexir are big Pretty decent sticks though. Not sure what models you're looking at. The Corsair have better timings and better performance wise (also OC headroom).

What mobo and CPU? First thought is the 2400 Corsair for the performance, but don't want to get something the CPU can't handle

The mother board is an asrock z97e itx/AC
Cpu is an i7-4790k so I am pretty sure it can handle it.
I'm sorry for not putting my initial pc specs but if you have any other questions let me know

No worries, and yes should be fine with either, I'd go the Doms at 2400. The Raiden is on the slow side, these are 1600/10 and 1600/9 is considered entry level

I was thinking the same thing only thing raiden offers is the plasma for aesthetics but for performance I wanted dominator.

Yep, would be nice if they expanded the line, I picked a DDR set of their Red Tesla which look very sharp, but are only available in 2666 and I wanted to run 3000+. They are nice sticks but not a wide selection
