Avexir RAM for gaming

I have a 4690k and I need some RAM for gaming. I wanna stay as low price as I can. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820011004&cm_re=8gb-_-20-011-004-_-Product This stick is black and red, ddr3, and is 1600mhz which is all great for me. The problem is it's CL11 and it doesn't say anything about Z97 support which I have. Also it's 1.5 volts. (I don't know if that's bad or good.) I can't find it on newegg or the website but would you know or be able to figure out if its dual channel. I plan to buy one stick and buy an other in a month or 2 when I get the money. Thanks!

1.5 is the norm for 1600 sticks, but CL11 is very slow, entry level is considered CL9 at 1600, this would be better sold as a 1333 stick, at the same price is the Team Dark 1600/9

The Avexir 8 GB memory part number AVD3U16001108G-1CIR is a single module. It is not intended for dual channel.

The CAS Latency of 11 is a bit on the high side, but not unusual for DDR3 memory.

The Avexir memory supports motherboards with the Z97 chipset.

1.5 V is the standard voltage for most DDR3 memory modules, so there is no issue there.

If wanting dual channel, it is recommended to get a dual channel kit (with two memory modules), as the modules are guaranteed to be compatible.

It is not recommended buying a single memory module and then buying another memory module later on in the hope of running the memory in dual channel mode. There is a risk of incompatibility between the individual modules which means dual channel mode will not be possible. It would also mean having to try several other memory modules until compatible memory combination is found.
