AVG Antivirus labeled connection Unidentified, It has not access

Alright, I downloaded AVG Antivirus, and it kept marking my connection as unknown; I hated this from the start, and now that it has been un-installed, I can't mark it as known. I tried re-installing, and it didn't work. And just a side-note, I am not 100% sure AVG is the problem. More the less, unidentified networks never give internet access, but home and work networks do.
By the way, I have no idea as to whether or not AVG even has anything to do with this, but it seems to me like it is what caused the networks to be unidentified.

And if anyone is willing, may I ask why unidentified networks don't have access for me?
