I just built a computer. everything was running perfectly until yesterday i stupidly downloaded AVG PC Tune up and ran its optimizations. First problem was my monitor immediately failed to detect upon restarting to do their harddrive/registry scan which can only be done upon restart. (this was after running their "optimizations". i temp fixed this problem by switching from DVI input to hdmi input...messed around with some settings in my nvidia control panel until it finally detected the via DVI again. turned off computer and went to sleep for the night thinking the problem was solved.
today right off the bat i notice 2 problems upon starting my computer.
1. Im now getting a "DTS Audio not available for specified device" not such a big problem, but id still like to fix it.
2. My graphics are shot. I have a Geforce GTX 1080 TI and I have a Acer Predator XB241YU monitor.
in my device manager it is only recognizing my monitor as Generic PnP monitor.
when i tested it on games such as GTA the graphics are absolutely subpar. I have no idea what to do any help would be greatly appreciated.
