Away from modem

Hey guys,

So I just bought this PC.
Thing is, I am about to move out and my computer won't be in the same room as the modem. Obviously, the HERO motherboard does not have built in wifi. What are my options ?
Powerline ? Buy a wifi card (though I'll be losing the networking enhancements coming with the mobo) ? Use an ethernet cable between the PC and a router connected to the modem via wifi (I actually don't know if it is even possible) ?

A simple USB WiFi adapter should be all you need. Makes sure it matches your router/modem protocol. Something like this:

if your moving into a new home or apt most places have more then one cable outlet. find the nearest one to your pc. if it in the same room you can sneak coaxal cable under the carpet and go around the room with it. if it a older home some people put the coxal wire down the duckwork. if the owner of the new home lets you you could run cat wire from the router to the pc.
