Hello everyone!

I'm thinking of building a new case and I saw this on slipperyskip.com...

I'd make plenty of changes, as follows:

  • ■ Build it ATX compatible, size should be about 60cm x 27cm x 65cm (w x l x h; aprox. 23.6" x 25.6" x 10.6")
    ■ Add space for a double radiator on the inside top, with filtered fans
■Mounting points for 2 x 120mm (intake) fans on the front and 1 on the bottom front, with removable filters
■Space for an 80mm exhaust fan on the back
■Racks for up to 6 x 3.5" HDDs and 2 x 2.5" SSDs, allowing for craphics cards up to 30 cm length
    ■8x expansion card slots
■Removable filter for the ATX PSU intake fan
■I'd cut cable routing holes on the MB tray, so cables can be routed through the back box
■Expand the "front" IO with 2x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0, audio and mic jacks, maybe add a 5.25" bay for an optical reader

What do you guys think?

The amount of heat dissipated by the metal in the case is minimal, compared to the part that gets taken care of by the cooling system.
Ventilation should be quite good, so I don't foresee any overheating probems
