Hi. I have a MacBook Pro 2016 with Touch Bar. The motherboard on the computer simply died about a year and a half ago, and I replaced the motherboard and battery. So the battery on this MacBook really isn't very old. Ever since buying this machine it has had horrible battery life, and gotten significantly worse QUICK. I have never gotten more than 6 hours on this MacBook, and currently I get 3 hours on a GOOD day. Which is just pitiful, it's not what I paid for. The sleep time is also horrendous. 3 hours of standby (sleep) and I lose 6%. The usage of my Mac is light to moderate. I use it to web browse, check emails, watch YouTube, or use Word.
Why am I having these problems, and is there anything I can do? I don't have Apple Care. Software is updated, always close background apps, I know all the tips and nothing helps. Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
