Awkward internet is awkward

I've been having this weird problem lately where I loose connection to steam and skype while I play Counter Strike: GO. However internet works fine (even steams website) and my ping is just fine.

The connection will drop for about 3 minutes before it returns, lasting 1 minute or so before dropping again. Restarting my router, heck even resetting it, have no effect whatsoever.

This isn't happening 24/7 luckily, it's more frequent after a long gaming session. Do you think I might be overtaxing my router or something?

Thanks for any help.

Solution
It is probably the QOS service in your router, try disabling it. BTW I hate to be a grammar nazi, but it's "lose" not "loose" connection.
How do I disable it on a Zyxel P-2812HNU-F3 router? I can't find anything relating to QoS anywhere on it.

EDIT: Actually I'm pretty sure it doesn't have the option to disable it. I did disable it on my computer though, but that didn't fix it.

I've tried closing all other running applications except steam (that uses internet) while gaming, but it doesn't help me.
I will try to forward the ports used by Skype and CS: GO. Those two are currently the only applications I'm having trouble with (well, WoW also, but I don't play it).
