Awrdacpi bios rev 0111

I hope you can help -
I have an ASUS laptop L3800 with P4_L3C REV 1xx MB and Award Bios Rev 0111.
I want to boot from a USB stick. But the BIOS does not have a USB option.

Can you help?

I think that option only comes up when you have a USB stick connected before pressing the start button.

Hi Hell Storm

The USB stick has properly installed Linux on it - all done exactly as advised by the supplier of the Linux software (an Oz magazine).

And, yes, it's in the port when I boot and when I either press Esc to get the boot options or when I go to BIOS setup and explore the Boot tab.
