I'm new to this site and i wanted to know if the ax1500i fits in the 750d. The corsair site says the maximum psu length for the 750d is 220mm. The ax1500i is 225mm. I wanted to know if the extra 5mm will make a difference. Thanks in advance.

Solution
If the manufacturer lists a size limitation, it is safe to assume that it is relevant. Do you really need a PSU with that output level?

Keep in mind that you still have to route cabling and that 5mm could be critical to being able to do that. Whatever PSU you chose, give yourself some space (if possible) to work with.

I'm going to agree with COLGeek on this one. Usually people who need that kind of power are using chassis with better airflow and quad graphics cards. I don't think the 750d is able to accommodate a watercooling system that could cool a system like that.

I actually have that very case sitting next to me. While I don't have a PSU of the size listed earlier, I can see where a huge PSU would butt right up to the SSD/HDD enclosure at the bottom of the case (or at least close enough to not be able to plug your modular cables in and then route them to the rest of your rig).
