Hi All,
I bought an AZIO GM2400 mouse a few months ago to use with my laptop. Mainly bought this mouse cause it was cheap and looked normal... Anyway I was using the mouse for a few months and then it started to apparently mess up my mouse drivers whenever i plug it in. Once plugged in, both the mouse and my trackpad will move around on the screen but can not click on anything. I have to unplug the mouse and uninstall all mouse drivers and restart to get the trackpad to work again. This problem was happening on Windows 7 and still since i upgraded to Windows 10. Any Thoughts?

Thanks for the reply Pearlmaster. I've done what you said and the problem just continues. I've used two other external mouses on the system and they work fine. I am only having trouble with this Azio mouse. How could this be? Could it be a specific driver conflict with this mouse even though it worked fine for a while before this problem occured?

That could be possible, have you tried to uninstall your current mouse drivers and restarted your PC? Once done restarting, download your mouse drivers via the manufacturer's website and attempt to re-install them.

I've tried this many times. have to uninstall all mouse drivers whenever I try to use the AZIO mouse. When I plug it in it works for a few seconds and then both the mouse and the trackpad stop working altogether and then i have to uninstall drivers and restart. I've used two other external mice on this computer and they install drivers and work fine. Unfortunately AZIO does not provide any drivers for this mouse on their website...

Any other ideas?

Have you tried to visit in this section of Azio's website?

Your mouse may be listed here.

Thanks Pearlmaster but as I stated, AZIO does not offer a driver for my mouse on their website.

This is quite odd, usually all USB mouse will still work after upgrading or installing Windows 10. You may try to report this to Azio or ask for a replacement from the shop where you have bought it.

I have the X01-k mouse and you are correct. THe mouse moves around the desktop just fine but clicking dies. This happens in Windows 7 and in windows 10.
I thought at first it was a hardware issue or a windows 10 issue but Because you backed up my suspicions that its a shoddy mouse.

Looks like I need to just clean my old mouse and throw this gaming mouse away since it has no drivers for it.

Just remember to stay away from them like I will
