Azura's Star quest - too late to trigger?

I cannot seem to trigger the quest to get Azura's Star. I try
clicking on her statue in the shrine, but to no avail.

Plotwise I am already the Nerevarine, I have Moon-And-Star, and am
currently trying to convince House Hlaalu to name me Hortator
(Telvanni and the Ashlanders already have).

Is it too late for me at this stage to get onto the Azura Star quest?

It shouldn't matter what you have already achieved. I just looked at
the script which should trigger when activating the statue and there's
no part about the player being Nerevarine.
(Just to be sure: Activating is like opening a door; press space
key by default.)

If nothing else will work, open the console (^ by default) and type
in the following lines:

Journal "DA_Azura", 10
"golden saint_staada"->Enable
"daedroth_az"->Enable
"hunger_az_01"->Enable
"atronach_flame_az"->Enable
"atronach_storm_az"->Enable
"hunger_az_02"->Enable
"ogrim_az"->Enable

These are the commands that are supposed to be triggered by the script.
This should put the quest into your journal. However, it won't ensure
that Azura (the statue) will talk to you from now on.
If she remains silent you should be able to end the quests by typing
the following lines into the Console:

player->AddItem "Misc_soulgem_Azura" 1
Journal "DA_Azura" 30

Perhaps you invalidated the quest by previously talking to the woman on
the island near Dagon Fel that Azura in her quest, says you MUST NOT
talk to when she sends you there...

Nope, I've gotten the quest from Azura, even after previously doing
away with the shack woman. As long as you don't speak to her during
this quest, Azura's cool with it.

Thanks, I've often thought about going back and talking to her after
completing the quest, however I've yet to get around to it... ^_^

Unfortunately I am using the Xbox version so don't have access to the
console 🙁

The statue I am supposed to click is the one inside the shrine, right?
I have tried that and the big one outside, but neither work.

As you might have already noticed, the game is somewhat buggy. Try talking to
the statue, then save and load. You probably won't get the monolog, but that
will probably trigger the journal entry and launch the quest. You may need to
do it more than once.

Good luck.
