[b]*** how to fit $ sticks of ram with Hyper evo 212 cpu cooler [/b]

hey guys i currently have a z170 a mobo with 2 stick of ram but looking to add another 2 but my cpu cooler is to big with 2 fans and not sure if it will fit

low profile ram. that's what it's made for. that or a different cooler.

It should, To check just move the stick into the slot you want to see if it will fit its easy to test

the thing is i already have 2 sticks of ram and want to add more i need to go with same brand/model would taking the plastic of that 1 stick work?

This is a known issue with the 212 EVO blocking Ram slots. Its one of many reasons why we now suggest the CRYORIG H7 over the EVO 212, since it performs better and doesn't block any ram slots.

Do not remove the heatsinks or heat spreaders from your ram. You need to replace the cooler with a Cryorig H7, or buy low profile ram as getochkn suggested.

how is this one smaller than the hyper evo 212 if I add a second fan to this one it will block my dimm slot anyways

Its not smaller its designed differently so as not to block the memory slots. A second fan would go on the opposite side of the memory. And it performs better.

oh ok i see the design with the cooling tubes on an angle to clear that remaining space thanks thats awesome !!

Its not smaller its designed differently so as not to block the memory slots. A second fan would go on the opposite side of the memory. And it performs better.
