B.S in Computer Science

Assalam Olykom And Hi All members.

First of all I'm not a newbie, almost 4 years old member of Tom's Community, Thanks to all you for gaining such a great experience about IT.

After along time I'm finally back I've done my FSC (2nd year) and now thinking for further studies, Let me mention it clearly that I'm interested in IT very much anything related with Computers, in my opinion I'm looking forward to B.S in Computer Science 4 Years program want to become hardware engineer, B.S (Bachelor of Science) does this field have any scope for good jobs but I'm from Pakistan. I want my future to work with companies, no matter what type it would be but will be alot better if got hands on Nvidia, Amd and other companies like that. Is Computer Science field is right for my needs??? Let suppose I had done my B.S and did M.Phil too what type of jobs I'll be able to do please mention its type. Or anyone who did Computer Science please share your experience salaries etc. I'm from Pakistan.

Companies like Nvidia and AMD are highly specialized, so I don't know what kind of degrees they look for, but Computer Science would definitely fall into part of what they do. Their drivers make a lot of use of math and other complicated algorithms. You may want to do a little research on what kind of people they hire if you're looking at a specific company. Otherwise, do what you find interesting.

Thanks for your response, but it is clear from Nvidia site they need a person with a degree of B.S in Computer Science or Electrical engineeing with a minimum of 3.5GPA, pretty high percentage required. Take a look,
