I have the Kingston 16gb DDR4 AND A MSI MPG B550 GAMING PLUS MOTHERBOARD. Recently I overclocked the ram to 3200mhz and then I got a black screen and the system won't post so I reset the BIOS and since then the PC won't boot if there is RAM inserted in B2 slot (4th). If inserted in rest of them will work fine.
Please help:(

Hi FAZ98.

How did you overclock the RAM? Using the XMP profile in the BIOS?

What is the RAM you have? 2 stick of 8GB 3200MHz?
Sorry for not being clear before. No usually I do it from xmp this time I did it under DRAM section and that's what messed it up I think and yes it's 2 stick of 8gb 3200mhz

I would do a clear CMOS again by taking the battery out for 10 min., and do not forget to disconnect the power cord

2400mhz. Not overclocking it right now because I am experiencing with high DDR voltage
Sorry to ask, but what is the exact reference (part number) of your RAM ? I am not sure that Kingston sells a 2 x 8 Gb KIT of 3200 Mhz. These could be in fact two singles.
And I am not speaking of Hyperx of course.
