I have the Kingston 16gb DDR4 AND A MSI MPG B550 GAMING PLUS MOTHERBOARD. Recently I overclocked the ram to 3200mhz and then I got a black screen and the system won't post so I reset the BIOS and since then the PC won't boot if there is RAM inserted in B2 slot (4th). If inserted in rest of them will work fine.
Please help:(

Solution
Sorry for not being clear before. No usually I do it from xmp this time I did it under DRAM section and that's what messed it up I think and yes it's 2 stick of 8gb 3200mhz
I would do a clear CMOS again by taking the battery out for 10 min., and do not forget to disconnect the power cord

Hi FAZ98.

How did you overclock the RAM? Using the XMP profile in the BIOS?

What is the RAM you have? 2 stick of 8GB 3200MHz?
