[SOLVED] b250 + i3 overclock?

Hi,
I have a Prime-B250 Plus and an i3 6100. Is there any way I can boost the clock without increasing voltage? I know the B250 chipset doesn't support overclocking but is there a way to sort of 'top off' the CPU a bit without increasing the voltage?

No. The i3-6100 has a locked multiplier. Even an unlocked CPU would not be able to OC on a B250 chipset.

An i5 would help you out with that RX 570. You can get an i5-6500 for around $100 on eBay. Then sell your i3-6100 for around $80.
