B250M PRO-VD with g.skill ripjaws V 2x8gb 2800MHz

Will G.skill ripjaws V 2x8gb 2800Mhz work on B250M PRO-VD mobo? I know it will bo locked to 2400Mhz, but will it work?

I noticed somewhere that on the box of rams or next to name is written: z170, intel x99

Thats why im asking

It was released way back during the 6th-gen Skylake and X99 mobos, hence, the "Z170", "X99" tag on the box. MSI has tested those RAM to work on that 7th-gen Kaby Lake mobo, so, no worries.

Btw, you linked the dual-channel 2x4GB RAM (8GB) not the 2x8GB kit (16GB) you were asking.
