B250M PRO-VH + i5-8600

Hi,
Is this mobo compatible with an i5-8600? According to a webshop im checking the prices at yes, but on this list the CPU isn't there.

Is the list simply outdated or my webshop is wrong?

No it is not compatible. 8th-gen Intel CPUs require a 300 series chipset motherboard. So, you'd want an H310, B360, H370, Z370, or Z390.

They are both LGA 1151, but Intel did a funny thing when they made 8th-gen CPUs LGA 1151, they rearranged the pin layout so they could intentionally make them incompatible with the older 100 and 200 series LGA 1151 motherboard chipsets forcing customers to buy new motherboards if they wanted the newest CPUs. *and confusing anyone not following along. Users have often bought the wrong chipset motherboard because they both say they have the same LGA 1151 socket.
