B350 and Ryzen 1600 10-15 seconds before Mobo splash screen normal?

Is this normal? I turn on the computer and wait about 10-15 seconds before the mobo screen shows up then goes into windows.

Msi Gaming B350m
Ryzen 1600
8gb Gskill Ripjaws4 @3200 (running 2400)
Samsung 850 evo 250gb
Evga gq 650w psu
Windows 10 creators update

When I initially turn on the computer, the ez debug CPU lights turn on then go off before showing the splashscreen. I've updated the bios to latest version and the graphics along with windows. Is there something I'm forgetting to get optimal speeds? This is my first amd build and am disappointed by the boot to desktop time, my old i5 2400 is much faster than this

Same with my Ryzen 1700/Msi b350 Tomahawk.
I would't worry about it, it's most likely gonna get patched over time since AM4 is still a pretty new platform.

There are fairly regular BIOS updates that are providing noticeable improvements, so be sure to update the BIOS often. (but safely, as any one bad/uncareful update will kill your motherboard)

yes, they only mean anything if the system isn't posting and they're staying on. They come an as part of the Power On Self Test (post)
