[SOLVED] B350 and Ryzen 3000?

I was thinking of repurposing my B350 Strix that I can't seem to resell and make a PC for my nephew along with his father's help. I know that Ryzen 3000 APUs are supported through a BIOS update but I heard some rumours that AMD released some Beta BIOS for Ryzen 3000 on certain B350 boards. Is this true?

I'm intrigued whether I can slot a 3100 in here? Anyone know more about this?

Bios version 5008 so yes you can.

It will however require a compatible older cpu in there to flash with the newer compatible bios.

Btw, how do I check this is the case for other B350 motherboards as well.

I checked version 5008 but couldn't find anything in relation to 3000 or Matisse.

Look down the cpu compatibility chart until you find the ryzen 3100, look over to the right for the bios required to run it.

All boards have a cpu compatibility chart with associated required bios, just go to the manufacturer Web page and click the support tab or option.
