Hi guys,
Dont suppose anyone can help me out here.
Just bought my new system

Rog Strix B350- F Gaming Motherboard
Trident Z Rgb Ram 16gb 3466 Mhz
Gigabyte Gtx 1060 3gb
Ryzen 5 1600
Sandisk 250 gb sdd
600w Psu

so my problem is when I put all the components in to my case when they are all plugged in I put the kettle cable in with power on and it boots,
if I turn off the pc, I then cannot turn it on from the button on my pc.
I have check my system panel connector and the Sw power is in the right place. I have tried turning it off and back on and using a screwdriver to just press the two pins together but nothing. I have changed the psu and still nothing. The led and Rgb on the board ONLY comes on.

Dont suppose anyone has any ideas before I return it and wait like 2 weeks for a replacement from amazon? Thanks.

^^ You are right. I also read through the thread that you linked when I was having issues with it. Here is my story:
I bought this motherboard (alongwith other components) early september. I had read through all these issues before buying it, so I had a fair idea about what was going to happen after I buy it. I had the issue that OP is having, plus my LAN card wont be enabled till a few minutes into windows 10. Also, my RAM wouldn't run at advertised 3000 MHz but only at 2100. Plus, AURA sync at that time was horrible. It would crash my PC, stop it from starting up etc. etc. So, I just uninstalled AURA sync app. I also updated the BIOS to the latest of that time (now, it is running on the BIOS that was released on 20th Sep). I upgraded...
I have the exact same motherboard (actually I have exact same main components as you, check my signature!) and I had the exact same issue if I understand you right. My issue was that if I turned off my PC from windows, I was not able to start it by pressing the power button. I had to switch off the main power (or PSU power) for 2 3 minutes till motherboard would completely shut down (no LED light up on motherboard). Then power it on and press the power button on the case. This would switch on my PC.

I resolved it by updating my motherboard BIOS to latest downloaded from Asus website. Please try it and let me know if it helps.

Hi hellrasier, sorry bout the late reply
I tried what you said and it did get the power led on but still didn't work on turning the pc on, i did the update straight through the bias with a wired connector i'm guessing this was the same as you were saying. Thanks for the help so i seem to still be having this issue.

I am sorry, I didn't get the wired connector part. What I did was I went to ASUS site and downloaded my motherboard;s driver from there. It was about 5 MB. I put it on a pen drive. Booted the PC, went into BIOS and updated it from the pen drive. Did you do the same thing? What version of BIOS do you have now?

I upgraded my LAN drivers from ASUS site. I also disabled my Windows to automatically update drivers. Latest version of AURA sync has no issues at all.
Only open issue right now is that my RAM runs only at 2666 MHz which is okay for me right now.

So, if OP tries all this, he should be able to resolve all his issues. If he doesn't, then there has to be a hardware issue with the motherboard or some issue with another component.

EDIT: ASUS has released a new BIOS on 27th Oct. Please try it. I will also update by BIOS to this version tonight and see if my RAM works at 3000MHz.. :)
