Greetings tech community. Im going to build a new gaming pc and I dont know which mobo should I get. Just to point out some things, extreme OC is out of the question as i will be using the stock cooler and I wont ever do sli/crossfire.The only thing I care about is build quality, bios friendly interface and quality VRMS.If only you could enlighten me whether or not should I head for a "budget" x470 or a "high-end b350" I would greatly appreciate it.

There are two options: (Do not provide me with external links- im going to buy from a local shop)

1) Buy ASUS STRIX B350-F GAMING this https://www.asus.com/gr/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-B350-F-GAMING/ for 120$

2)Buy GIGABYTE AORUS ULTRA GAMING REV 1https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X470-AORUS-ULTRA-GAMING-rev-10#kf for 160$

Is worth mentioning that my budget is extremely tight and if there are no significant differences between the two ,i will discard option 2. Thanks for your time!

For 120$ you have the X470 Master SLI which works out pretty good and u get the new chipset.
With the newest CPUs you def should get the X470 or wait for the B450's chipset to enjoy the full performance of the newest Ryzens.
Both are very solid boards. The only thing you'll need to know is that the b350-f might need a bios update, which requires a 1st gen ryzen or an amd bootkit if you contact amd. If you know that the bios is updated to support zen+, I would go for the b350-f since the bios is much easier to navigate and it doesnt have as much bloatware as the gigabyte board.

will I have the same OC potential in cpu and ram?

My ram is hyper x fury 2666mhz(2x4) I want to OC them to 3200mhz

Me, I'd strongly consider the ASUS X470 boards, especially if your want to OC at all, minimally or extensively - either the Prime (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813119100) or the Strix (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA2F87956526), if your budget can stretch a bit more At a minimum, they'll certainly handle the memory better than the older series boards, not to mention support the Ryzen 2 series new features. ASUS certainly has a much, much better BIOS and configuation tools than Gigabyte.

those boards, unfortunately are wayyy out of my budget
