B350 with AMD 2

What are the downsides if i use and B350(Bios Updated) comperade to an X470?

A lot, if you don't need all sing and dancing features, hold off and get the B450 model.

You lose out on Precision boost 2 and XFR2, which are basically auto overclocking features. If you plan on manually overclocking they don't matter too much. Other than that, you lose out on a few ports/connectors compared to X series chipsets, and multi GPU support, as shown in the table above.
