Hi All,

I have a ASUS ROG Strix B360 F gaming MB. And I've installed G.skill Trident Z RGB 2X8GB ram kit 3200mhz. I know this ram kit won't perform in 3200mhz speed. It should downclocks.

But UEFI shows that RAM kit is running on 2133mhz speed. Shouldn't it be running on 2666mhz? How can I change it to 2666mhz?

Thanks,
Best Regards

Solution
I5, I7 and I9 use the 2666 MHz and I3 Pentium and Celeron use 2400 MHz, Should be able to use XMP, or asus DOCP, you may have to use an alternate profile to get down to 2666, or you can use CPUID to see the rated timings for 1333 (doubles to 2666) and then set them manually in the UEFI. 2133 is JEDEC spec
