[SOLVED] B450 and AMD 1600AF to build or not to build?

So i have a NIB AMD Ryzen 1600AF i got for $85 and a free B450 motherboard...should i just sell the combo and wait for B550 (i'll be getting a free B550 mobo as well) and pair it with a 3300x?

My current build is

i5-6500
16GB
RTX 2060 6GB
Sata SSD

I only play world of tanks and typical office work.

Parts that i have sitting around for the this new build
PCI-E 3.0 m.2 SSD
600 watt PSU
16GB DDR4 3200

I would suggest you could turn that mobo + cpu into a full computer to sell by reusing the ram and sata ssd from your current build, all you would need is another PSU, case and a cheap graphics board (say an RX 570) and you've got a full gaming machine to sell....

If you are set on getting a B550 + 3300x I would keep the other new parts you've purchased for that build.

It looks like both options are more than capable for your needs. How often do you upgrade? A B550 does give slightly better upgrade path but apart from that it’s easiest to say go with the overall cheapest option.
