Hi everyone, I have a problem with an aorus b450 elite motherboard. I've bought a new processor, a ryzen 5600X which replaces a ryzen 3600X. I installed it on the motherboard, without updating the bios first and since then I can't boot, with the ryzen 5600X as with the 3600X, the cpu and dram led light up simulataneously but sometimes only the dram led. i've tried booting with only 1 ram bar on all the different slots, i've tried a clear CMOS, i've also unplugged everything that isn't useful for booting to access the bios (cg,hdd, ect), but nothing changes.
i tried putting everything on a new motherboard, and it worked.

A BIOS update is required before installing the new CPU. You will need to reinstall the 3600X processor into your motherboard, update the BIOS to at least version F61 (following any instructions necessary as provided by the Gigabyte Support Pages), and then reinstall the 5600X processor.

If you did not update the BIOS prior to installing the 5600X, then reinstalling the 3600X should have restored your system unless some other changes were made by you.

If no other changes were made by you and you reinstalled the 3600X and now your system will not boot, then there is an issue with either the CPU or the motherboard. One of which likely got damaged and you'll need a new component.

You said it all worked in a new motherboard?

yes, i tried it on another board and everything works, so the cpu is not affected. could the motherboard have been fried because i put a cpu without the right driver?

I find that hard to believe
