I am thinking about upgrading my Ryzen 5 3600 and rtx 2060 to a Ryzen 5 5600x and rtx 3070. My motherboard is a B450 AORUS M and I currently have the F60h BIOS version installed.
On Gigabytes website it says the BIOS version F60 is needed to support the 5600x. Also on my motherboards BIOS download page there is no F60h and only the F60.
Is the F60h BIOS version compatible with a 5600x or should I install the F60 BIOS version?

They likely pulled the BIOS since it was faulty or that the one succeeding it was a resolution to the BIOS you can't find. I would still update the BIOS till you're on the last known BIOS listed on their support page which is F65b

Once you've verified that the BIOS is successfully flashed to the latest version, clear the CMOS by disconnecting from the wall and display, then remove the battery for 30 minutes. Replace the battery and then power up the system.

Do keep in mind that the PSU might need replacing if you intend to go with an RTX3070.

i would personally just go up to F62 latest bios should be fine should you run into any issues after gives this forum a shout.

there are a few things to note

before even attempting to upgrade the bios or the processor set all overclocks on memory to default settings in the bios

so when your in bios go to

find set to default and save it before you do any chip swapping or upgrading of the bios

some boards may require you to disable the amds security on cpu and bitlocker may prevent booting into windows ( this does exist on windows 10 home not sure about windows 11)

if your unsure how to do that drop me a message and ill get back to you on it.

( my asrock b450 refused to post till i went threw this rats nest of crap )

So should I be able to upgrade from the F60h BIOS directly to the F62 or would I have to download any BIOS in-between?
