Hi and thanks for reading!

I recently decided to install an AIO (the H100x) in my machine but during installation managed to bend a few pins on my 2600X. After that, the motherboard no longer seemed to receive any power (the ROG logo no longer lit up), but I put this down to the CPU not being recognised.

So I bought a new 3600X as a replacement, but then obviously found that I would need to update the BIOS first (machine powered on, fans spinning etc but no signal was received by the monitor). I ordered an Athlon 200GE which arrived today, but now when trying to boot I still don't get any signal but the orange/yellow LED on the motherboard is showing up.

I've tried all different combinations of RAM placement (using just one stick and two) and have also tried resetting the CMOS but nothing seems to work.

My specs are below, hopefully you can help me!

CPU: 3600X (trying to update BIOS with a 200GE
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix B450-F GAMING
RAM: 2 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3000MHZ
GPU: 5700XT Red Devil

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

So I got this build in February 2019, at that point I don't believe this motherboard supported the 3 series Ryzen processors? (my original build was a 2600x)

The new processor (3600x) is brand new, so the pins aren't bent
