Question B450 motherboard for 5800 X3D and 6700 XT

I order a B45O motherboard (ASUS TUF Gaming B450-PLUS II for 5800 X3D and RS 6700 XT. Should I return it back and upgrade to a B550. If so any recommended motherboards?

I suggest you do return it for a B550 to get PCie gen 4 for one NVME and the GPU. A TUF B550 Gaming Plus would be a good choice.

pcie 4 is the only reason to go to b550. if that means little to you, then you're good to go.

if you feel you need it, then swap to a b550. as noted above, the same model you ordered with b550 in front of it would bean obvious swap.

take the time though to consider m.2 slot needs/wants as well as usb ports and so on while you go the chance to change it. many people wait until they start hooking stuff up to realize they can't hook up everything they want/need.
