Hello everyone,
After many days thinking about an upgrade i bought my ryzen 5 3600 for like 195€.
Now it's time to buy the motherboard and i do not have the budget for the x570 (even because i'll have to buy RAM, RX5700, new ssd, and new case as well).

For now everyone just tipped me the B450 Tomahawk from MSI and here I have the B450 Tomahawk Max in a local shop near me.
Now i have seen Amazon Italy has the B450 Gaming plus for like 100 euros and was wondering if I should save some euros and take it instead of the Tomahawk.
I know that difference is about the Heatsink and i was wondering if i could figure out cpu heat problems or something similar if i go with the gaming plus which is cheaper.
What would you do in my case?

B450 would be the ideal budget chipset/platform. Just be sure to update the BIOS from the shop you're purchasing in order to drop the R5 3600 into that board.

Go for the board that has heatsinks on the VRM, out of the box. Aftermarket modification will only mean more resources drop onto a board.

Which impact could the heatsink have in my case with the 3600?
Which could be the downsides about the smaller heatsink on the gaming plus?
