was just about to update the bios for my b450 tomahawk went to download the latest bios and saw this
Description
  • Update AMD ComboPI1.0.0.3
  • Support Ryzen 3000 series CPU.
Ryzen 9 3900X/Ryzen 7 3800X/Ryzen 7 3700X/Ryzen 5 3600X/Ryzen 5 3600/Ryzen 5 3400G/Ryzen 3 3200G

no idea what this bottom line means and the link sends me to blank msi page should i just ignore it?

Solution
Do you have an older Ryzen CPU as well or is this a completely new build with this motherboard?

If it's new, then there is ONLY one way you can do it. Put the new BIOS image on a flash drive, press the flashback button, or whatever the motherboard manual specifically instructs you to do when using the flashback feature.

The only reason it says "beta" version, is because MSI (And others) don't want to be responsible if something goes wrong during the process or afterwards as far as liability is concerned. Just flash using the flashback feature the same as you would under any normal circumstances.
