I'm looking to build a new pc for VR gaming. I'm liking the Ryzen 5 2600 for the price. I'll be using an nvidia GTX 1060 6gb that I have currently in my office desktop. And the vr system I'm using is Oculus rift CV1 with 2 sensors (though I might end up buying another sensor.) I'll also be installing some kind of m.2 hard drive, possibly alongside a SATA SSD for booting from.

What I'm thinking is that the vr system is quite demanding on the USB channels, so maybe the extra channels in the x370 will give extra stability? Especially when I'm running an m.2 drive.

Or will the newer technology on the B450 give a better experience?

I'm looking at an Asus prime x370-pro for £93, to give you an idea of the price bracket I'm thinking of.
