Question [b450i] Ryzen 5 2400g Safe to update bios to latest?

As the title states, I am wondering if I can safely update the bios past7A40va6 without any issues? No, I am not looking to use the beta. I am looking into this version 7A40vAA to update.

My specs are as follows:

B450i Gaming Plus AC MSI
Ryzen 5 2400g
Rx 580 8gb Sapphire Pulse 8gb
Team Group Delta RGB 2x8gb 3200 MHz

My reasoning is due to having some complications with memory. I was hoping an update to my bios may resolve such an issue.

Ram won't go to 3200 Mhz.

I try everything, but it won't go to 3200, and I am on an old version. I am on 7A40va6 and it didn't seem to fix the ram issue.

Trying to find out if updating my bios to the 7A40vAA will be safe for me or brick my system.

Try the A9. It seems that it would fix some memory issues. Take into account that there's always a risk when updating the BIOS and increasing the RAM speed would not bring any noticeable performance improvement.
